Today the Dallas Police Department received laboratory results from evidence submitted for one of the nine sex assault offenses that we have been investigating. The results provided a positive DNA match for a suspect. An arrest warrant for Aggravated Sexual Assault has been issued for Van Dralan Dixson, Black male 11-21-1974. Officers are working diligently to locate the suspect. The Dallas Police Department is asking for assistance in locating Suspect Dixson. Any information as to his whereabouts can be reported to 911. We are still awaiting laboratory results of evidence submitted for testing from other cases. Detectives will continue to investigate all leads on the sexual assault cases and even though a suspect has been identified, the public should remain alert and vigilant in reporting suspicious persons or activities to police.
The suspect pictured above, is described as a Black male, 5'7'' weighing 181 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. If anyone knows his whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.
