If you have been struggling to find a Mud Snake like all of us herpers do at one point, make sure you try this method and you very well may finally end up with a Mud Snake in your hands! Herping for these guys is hard and takes lots of time, effort, and patience but if you add this trick to your arsenal, I guarantee you will stand a much better chance at finding one of these awesome snakes plus Amphiumas and Sirens. About a year ago on this day, I found my very first Mud Snake after herping for one for over 3 years. I decided to return to the same spot at the same time of day to test my luck and see if I could pull it off again...

I'm working on one of my last Galápagos videos and it's taking longer than expected so to give you all something while you're waiting, here is some of the best footage of Bird-Voiced Tree Frogs I have ever gotten that I captured last night in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. This is it! The final episode of my Arkansas Alligator and Snake herping trip! In this last part, I finally find the snake I had been targeting for the whole trip... A Mississippi Green Water Snake! It took a lot of effort and blood loss from mosquitos, but I finally found my first ever Mississippi Green Water Snake after trying to find one for years! Along the way, I found tons of other snakes and a few more alligators to top it off. This was by far one of the best herping trips I have been on in a long time and I can't wait to go back. I hope you all have enjoyed my journey into the Alligator backwoods of Arkansas!

This night, I didn't feel like busting my ass trying to find something rare. So instead, I went on a county wide expedition to find every species of Water Snake known to live in Memphis, Tennessee. I knew I was going to end up seeing a lot of snakes and a decent amount of species so I figured some of you would enjoy this as a video. Sorry if the ending is rushed.
